Give Your Soul What She Desires

Give Your Soul What She Desires

The little voice that gets louder and louder each day, reminding you what you should be doing and want to be doing and know you need to do to be who you want to become, well say hell to your soul. Our soul is here to experience itself in its fullest expression. Our soul is always expanding and creating but our ego can put a halt on that real quick giving us all kinds of excuses as to why our soul doesn’t have the time, money, or resources to fulfill what it desires. When we give into the ego, we create stagnation.  This is when things start to fall flat in our lives. Our relationships feel lackluster, you feel like a robot going through the motions day by day or your business doesn’t feel all that exciting anymore. What’s being asked of you is your next evolution.  You soul wants to express itself in a new way or in a way that you’ve been wanting but haven’t been giving yourself. So give into that voice that’s nudging you to create what you truly desire. Otherwise, the more you dismiss it, the more you neglect your soul. And remember what you desire doesn’t always have to be these grand and elaborate ideas. You may have been eyeing that new restaurant that recently opened up, that’s getting all kinds of buzz in your town but you’ve been putting it off.  Well call your bestie or make a date with your lover this week to go. Recently, I went flower crazy at a local nursery here because I was craving color and... read more
Is It Just My Imagination or Is it My Intuition?

Is It Just My Imagination or Is it My Intuition?

When you begin strengthening your inner voice, often times it can feel as if you’re making things up or if you’re imagining things. To discern whether it’s your imagination vs. intuition you’re accessing, read on my dear! Your imagination is most certainly an important facet in strengthening your creativity, your sixth chakra, and ultimately your intuitive knowing. It helps you to think outside the box, open your mind, and allows you to see fresh perspectives. You access imagination by using your mind to navigate your thoughts, ideas or images you want to see.  Your imagination is being engaged when you’re intentionally visualizing or saying things in your head. Play along with me here:  Imagine yourself walking along the beach barefoot, with your feet in the sand and looking across the ocean.  You can make yourself imagine that scene pretty easily right? Notice how you are actively making that happen in your mind.  This is your imagination. When you access your intuition, you’re not “forcing” or “making” an image, thought or idea happen. You simply allow the intuitive guidance to come to you while being in a state of neutrality.  Let the answer emerge rather than trying to look for it. To achieve the best state to access your intuition and stay out of your imagination, it’s important to get relaxed and centered first.  Breathe mindfully, drop into your body and be present.  Making intuitive decisions in heightened states of stress or frenzy is definitely not the way to go. Ask your question that you have in mind and then breathe. Continue to stay relaxed and centered while keeping your... read more
11 Mantras to say when you’re drowning in fear and self-doubt

11 Mantras to say when you’re drowning in fear and self-doubt

When you’re stricken with that internal nagging voice of self-doubt and fear telling you… You’re not good enough You don’t know enough You don’t have what it takes Nobody will believe in you, love you or trust you What if it doesn’t work out the way you want it to? What if you fail? How do you know this is the right plan / decision / path? Pause and get connected to the wisdom and power of your Soul. I’m constantly learning to manage my own fears and self-doubts daily. As much as I want them to go away and deem myself totally fearless, I don’t believe in the idea of actually being 100% fearless. What I firmly believe in is being friends with your fears and self-doubt, working with it, loving it, hearing it out and dancing with it. By doing so, you create wholeness within and integrate all of who you are, especially the parts of you that are afraid. Showing yourself loving kindness even when you’re overwhelmed with fear and self-doubt brings you back into resonance with your Soul. Today I’m sharing with you loving mantras to manage those inner demons and remind you of how brilliant, powerful, and soulful you are. I like to say them out loud, repeating it over and over again until I feel a shift of energy within me. You can say them in silence too, meditate on the words, and breathe them into your body, heart and soul. Ready?  Say it loud and proud! :: I trust in the wisdom of my Soul. :: I hear you fears. I know... read more

When Being Bold Shows Up In Unexpected Ways

For the past 7 years I’ve chosen a word for myself every year. An energy I want to embody and focus on, to understand how it moved through my life, my mind, my heart and my soul. I chose a word that I can experience its polarities, the positive and negatives and everything in between that it asks of me. For 2015 I chose the word BOLD. I wanted a greater sense of self-expression and new adventures. And initially I felt that being bold was about being seen but I realized through this past year’s journey that the two are quite different. I was seeing the energy of “boldness” through the eyes of taking extreme measures to put myself out there in big ways. Make noise. Ruffle feathers. Sure there were elements of that but my boldness took a shape that I’m now seeing was not about being seen externally but about seeing myself even more. For me, being bold encompassed looking into the shadows of myself in all levels, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically. In April I went to a workshop with one of my intuitive mentors to move through the hidden aspects of the shadow. Oh the things we see when we shine the light on the dark! I learned core patterns that I still haven’t move beyond about who I am, why I make certain choices out of fear and my self-sabotaging patterns that leave me in exhaustion. Boldness showed up by firmly reining in my multitude of ideas, creating more laser focus so that my creative energy doesn’t spread like wild fire but instead burns... read more
A Gratitude Meditation for You

A Gratitude Meditation for You

Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. ~ Melody Beattie I always hear my father say, “I’m so grateful to live here in America!” He’ll voice this out loud with a glowing smile in random moments while driving down the highway or as we walk out of a restaurant with expanding waistlines after eating a big breakfast. Born and raised in the Philippines, he moved to the United States in his early 20’s and he definitely wasn’t born with a silver spoon in his mouth.  Many of his American dreams came true and he continues to be deeply grateful for the opportunity to live here, even after 40 years. Through him, I’ve learned to express gratitude for everyday moments that can easily be overlooked. And to do this throughout my day too. As I’m washing my hands, I feel grateful for running water. Grabbing produce off the grocery shelves, I’m grateful for our farmers and suppliers for all their hard work. Seeing the morning sun peek through the blinds, I’m grateful for another day to experience life. The more present I am to gratitude, the more opportunities I have to love, to share, to forgive and to stay connected with my Soul and purpose. I’ve created this beautiful 10-minute Gratitude Meditation to help you tap into this uplifting energy of gratitude.  I’ve also infused this meditation with healing light too! You can listen to this at any time of the day, especially when you want to really amp up your shine! Remember, what you appreciate… APPRECIATES! So go on and... read more
